Position Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Logistics Operations Lead to support daily supply chain activities, inventory management, transportation coordination, and operational improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in logistics planning, procurement support, inventory control, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a growing logistics firm in Cameroon's South West Region.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records across all product lines.
Support inbound and outbound logistics operations, including shipment tracking and delivery coordination.
Build and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare periodic reports on inventory performance, transportation costs, and key service metrics.
Assist in demand forecasting and supply planning activities to reduce waste and stockouts.
Support procurement teams with purchase order tracking and supplier communications.
Participate in process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to logistics and supply chain activities.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Preferred

Knowledge of supply chain concepts: inventory management, transportation, procurement, and demand planning.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP.
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
Previous internship, project, or coursework related to supply chain or logistics operations.
